The Score Amazone with Backrest combines all the features of the Score Amazone with a highly supportive low/mid backrest. The key distinguishing feature on the Amazone is the narrower saddle seat top, which has been designed specifically for a female shaped pelvis. In addition, there is a height adjustable back support that has been designed to give you additional low back and mid back support when sitting, whilst maintaining the manoeuvrability and high sitting position of the saddle.
The stool has a lever based forwards and backwards tilting mechanism. By forwards tilting you are able to facilitate anterior tilting of the pelvis which in turn encourages a more upright low back position. The Amazone saddle stool with backrest is easy to adjust for height using a simple lever, and it has a small footprint and light but sturdy construction. The size and weight of the saddle not only make it very manouverable when sitting but also make it highy portable.
The shape of the seat was originally inspired by a horseback rider’s saddle, which encourages an upright sitting posture during the day. By changing the way you sit, it is designed to relieve pain caused by poor posture and to reduce the risk of back pain, neck pain and other musculoskeletal disorders. The stool is offered with a standard 5-year guarantee on parts and 2-year guarantee on upholstery.

WHO SHOULD USE THE AMAZONE BALANCE?
The Amazone Balance is designed to develop core muscle strength and is most popular for dental professionals looking to improve posture and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injury. Occasionally we have found that the Balance is too challenging for individuals who have recently had back or pelvic surgery or a recent back injury and so do not recommend it in these situations.
HOW FAR DOES THE SEAT MOVE?
The stool can move approximately 5-7 degrees in all directions.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE AMAZONE AND AMAZONE BALANCE?
The stools are identical in every way except for the movement mechanism. The movement mechanism on the standard Amazone allows lever based forwards and backwards tilt whilst the active movement mechanisms on the Amazone Balance allows a small amount of movement in all direction.
