The Score Amazone Stool has the narrowest seat width in the range and is our most popular Score dental saddle stool for females. In contrast to the Salli-stools, the Amazone saddle has a full single seat saddle without any split. Apart from the narrow shape, one of the most popular features of the seat is the lever based anterior and posterior tilting mechanism. This feature not only allows you to put more weight thought the legs (which is great for manoeuvrability) but also allows you to naturally tilt the pelvis forwards, which in turn encourages you to sit more upright. Like all the other Score Dental Saddles the Amazone has a simple, lever based height adjustment and highly engineered base to facilitate easy height adjustment and maximal manoeuvrability around the practice.
THE IDEA
Like a horse saddle, the Amazone stool seat top positions the legs to the side of the stool and tilts the pelvis forward which results in a more upright sitting position. By sitting higher and extending the spine into a more natural, neutral position the seat is designed to relieve pain caused by poor posture and to reduce the risk of back pain, neck pain and other musculoskeletal disorders.

MOST POPULAR DENTAL QUESTIONS
WHO SHOULD USE THE AMAZONE?
The vast majority of females who trial the Amazone stool get on very well. In particular dental professionals who get pain relief from a more upright spine position tend to find the higher sitting position and forward pelvic tilt more comfortable.
HOW FAR DOES THE SEAT MOVE?
Using the lever adjustment the seat will tilt through a range of up to 20 degrees.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE AMAZONE AND AMAZONE BALANCE?
The stools are identical in every way except for the movement mechanism. The movement mechanism on the standard Amazone allows lever based forwards and backwards tilt whilst the active movement mechanisms on the Amazone Balance allows a small amount of movement in all direction
